Keep Going – CANADA TOUR

This summer the Antitapas Crew landed in Canada with the mission to cross the country in a legendary musical tour.

The full team on the road was composed by a dancer/announcer, a barman, a butler & two bands: Cougars in America a new alt-folk project of Canadian-turned-Bruxellois singer-songwriter, Scott Hamilton and by the experimental urban folk pizzica of Antonio & Friends!

The adventure started in Halifax (Nova Scotia, East Coast) with a big old Ford van called Henry, keeping going west until Vancouver Island and back East until Montreal.

Amazing experiences, encountering bears and wild animals, crossing endless field and forest, fishing, meeting native indians, playing concerts and busking in many different and remote places, passing the Rocky Montains, breaking our van down in the middle of nowhere in Ontario, hitchhiking until an industrial outskirts of Winnipeg called “XL Transportation” where the owner (renamed Big Dan for his great heart) gave us a 1994 Blue-bird 48 passenger bus for free and the possibility for us to keep going our adventure!!!

We loved the big Canada, the welcoming and generous people… we hope they enjoyed our smiles, dance, music and “El derecho de ser Felices”
